Marina Grissin

As the Education Officer for Greece, Marina is working empower students in Greece with the knowledge, skills and experience to tackle plastic pollution in their school.

Marina has a business background but her passion for education led her to switch careers to teach Entrepreneurship in secondary schools, and later to study Strategic Leadership in Education and Project Based Learning for Climate Justice. With the goal of creating a strong community in the fight against plastic, Marina uses her diverse skills to engage and inspire educators all around Greece and develop impactful partnerships within the field of ocean conservation and environmental education.

Outside of work, Marina enjoys family time along the beautiful Greek coastline and volunteers in nonprofits like Green Project and Children Might Foundation. She firmly believes in the power of youth and is motivated to be part of the movement to end plastic pollution.
